Hard Rubbish is the project of former Dead Roo  frontman Jason Katsaras. Deeply personal, Katsaras's songs are sparse and separate - similar to his relationships while moving around the country in the last few years. The Adelaide boy's formative challenges across everyday life colour each song - from bar work to love lost and finding one's place. Working and living in North Queensland wasn’t enough to sway Katsaras’s sound too far into the bush, with songs maintain a suburban tinge. ‘Evergreen’ is the latest single from Katsaras. Written as a kind of self motivational dictum, Evergreen narrates the past whilst looking forward to the future.
